Recovery-Focused Therapy for Women Who Carry Too Much
MY MISSION
At The Uninterrupted Life Collective, I believe no one moves through life uninterrupted.
At some point, grief, trauma, loss, responsibility, motherhood, or life’s unexpected turns interrupt the way we see ourselves, experience relationships, and move through the world. Those interruptions shape who we learn to become—not because we chose them, but because they helped us survive.
My mission is to help women understand those patterns with compassion instead of self-criticism, honor the wisdom of their survival, and recover the parts of themselves that have been buried beneath responsibility, perfectionism, and the expectation to always be the strong one. I offer a steady, relational, and trauma-informed space where your story is met with curiosity, your grief is taken seriously, and your experiences are never minimized or rushed. This is a place to say the quiet part out loud, because while none of us move through life uninterrupted, we do not have to remain defined by those interruptions.
Recovery begins when your story is seen, understood, and no longer carried alone.
PERFECTIONISM, HIGH-FUNCTIONING ANXIETY
& SELF-DOUBT
You may find yourself overthinking conversations, replaying decisions, or scanning for what you might have done wrong—even when nothing is clearly wrong.
Perfectionism and high-functioning anxiety are often not about high standards. They are ways of trying to stay safe from criticism, rejection, or feeling “not enough.”
GRIEF, LOSS & COMPLICATED BEREAVEMENT
PEOPLE-PLEASING, CODEPENDENCY & DIFFICULTY SETTING BOUNDARIES
People-pleasing and overfunctioning are not personality traits—they are learned survival strategies. They often develop in environments where connection, safety, or approval felt conditional on being helpful, agreeable, or emotionally responsible for others.
Over time, this can make it difficult to know where others end and you begin.
Grief is not only about death. It can also arise from endings that were never fully acknowledged, changes that arrived too quickly, or losses that did not have space to be processed.
Grief can be emotional, physical, and disorienting. It often shows up in waves rather than a straight line.
CHILDHOOD TRAUMA & ATTACHMENT WOUNDS
Many people do not identify their early experiences as trauma. Instead, they notice long-standing patterns in adulthood—such as anxiety in relationships, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty trusting others.
MOTHERHOOD, MATRESCENCE & IDENTITY TRANSITION
Motherhood is not only a role change, it is an identity transformation.
Whether you are pregnant, postpartum, or many years into parenting, it is common to experience emotional shifts alongside love and connection.
LIFE TRANSITIONS &
IDENTITY CHANGE
Life transitions can quietly or abruptly shift your sense of identity, leaving you feeling unanchored in your own life.
These changes often involve both endings and beginnings at the same time.
I work primarily with adults who appear highly capable on the outside but feel emotionally exhausted on the inside. Many are navigating perfectionism, people-pleasing, anxiety, relationship challenges, unresolved childhood experiences, grief, or significant life transitions.
Together, we explore the deeper patterns shaping these experiences—including the influence of family, culture, identity, and life experiences—to help you build greater self-trust, emotional balance, and lasting change.
I welcome clients from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, and identity backgrounds, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where your unique experiences are met with curiosity, respect, and care.
